Since 1995, we have been tracking our equity portfolios
on the Internet. The annualized rates of return have
varied from 39% to 401%.
By February of 2000, we had achieved our goal of reaching a 0 risk portfolio (see below). Since

- H2O / Water
A special collection of stocks for risky times.
- 0 Risk Portfolio
What we attempted to do was create a 0 (zero)
risk portfolio based on a Risk
vs. Return theory. First, we invested 100% of our investment funds
in high risk stocks. But, because we did not invest in just one stock,
the overall portfolio's risk was reduced.
Whenever we could, we took our profits
off the table. We would also keep some of the shares from each company
(never selling our entire position.)
Eventually, we were left with 100% of the original funds back in
our hands. Therefore, we have achieved our goal of 0 risk.
We are also left with a sweet, diversified portfolio. It includes
shares of Spyglass, US Wireless, Open Text, ILink, Reuters, Lockheed Martin, WIT Capital, and
many small companies that specialize in the Internet and/or Wireless

we've been keeping an eye to tomorrow. Energy continues
to intrigue us. Independent energy plants, such as energy cells,
hold a special interest. Though we do not recommend large
acquisitions, we are buying "a few shares at a time".

Some fun ideas for kids or grandchildren.
- Long Term Holdings
Since there are very few trades in this portfolio,
we do not publish the details. It should be noted that
this portfolio compliments our other portfolios and includes
some shares from most of the stocks that we have ever owned.
