AT&T @ widgette.com

Company Profile

AT&T (stock symbol = T) originally stood for American Telephone & Telegraph. They became a monopoly in that area. Then, the U.S. government broke them up -- separating them from all their wires and cables. Now, they have a vested interested in these companies: MediaOne, Microsoft, Comcast, Tele-Communications Inc. (TCI), @home, and Excite.com.

Though these relationships could make them The Corporate Giant in the area of Internet, broadband and cable services, what will the acquisition of all these wires and cables mean?
